Our naturalists have over 15 years experience on whale watching vessels. They provide expert commentary as we watch the whales, dolphins, porpoises, seals and the sharks swimming beneath the large variety of sea birds.
A MESSAGE TO OUR PASSENGERS:
The whales we will be viewing are in their natural environment. They come here to feed and raise their young as they have for centuries. As they are not in a contained area, some days are better than others for finding and watching them. We do not control these great wild creatures, we are simply observers. We do have the highest rate of success.
The Acadian Whale Watcher's 1750 HP engines make her one of the fastest Whale Watcher boats in Maine.
The Acadian Whale Watcher was specifically designed and built for whale watching. The boat is 94 feet long, 24 feet wide, equipped with the latest in electronics and can cruise at 25 knots on the open ocean. It is, of course, Coast Guard certified for your safety and wheelchairs are welcome.
There is comfortable seating for 149 passengers, spacious heated cabin with a full service galley/bar. Our captain is an experienced professional with many years service on ocean going vessels. Together with his friendly, experienced crew they will make your four hour round trip to the feeding grounds of these gentle leviathans an unforgettable sea adventure.
